I loved your article but I still have some questions. I have mahogany and cherry furniture. I am concerned that the 70% alcohol will damage the finish of my furniture. No one in my family is sick yet, so I’m just doing my regular cleaning of the furniture. Hi, I’m looking to disinfect some wooden pews. Spraying them down, letting it dry then wiping it down might be a little time consuming to clean all of them. I wondered if there was a wet wipe that was just 70% ethanol that could be used the same way and would not require going back over. What I found were 70% Isopropyl wipes, would Isopropyl work interchangeably with Ethanol? And would it be safe to wipe the furniture down with said wet wipe and leave to dry on its own?
